Configuration Types

FreeRdpConfiguration
The main configuration groups are:

ParentWindow is assigned by the control when it creates the render target; hosts normally do not set it.
Native AutoReconnect is distinct from wrapper-level SmartReconnect: the latter replaces the process after a size change.

GatewayConfiguration
Hostname, Port, Username, Domain, Password, and AdditionalArguments describe the RD Gateway independently of the destination.
An empty hostname suppresses gateway arguments. Password and additional arguments can contain secrets; do not log ToString().
CertificateConfiguration
Deny, Ignore, Name, AlternateName, TOFU, and AdditionalArguments map to native certificate options. Ignore bypasses checks; TOFU means trust on first use and has its own security tradeoffs.
